CureAccelerator Live! for the Mid-Atlantic 2018

In October 2018, Cures Within Reach held CureAccelerator Live! for the Mid-Atlantic philanthropic pitch event in the Washington, DC area. Four PIs from institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region were selected to present their clinical repurposing trials for up to $50,000 in funding. Following the pitches and Q&A from a panel of expert, attendees selected the winning project:   Dr. John Elfar, Penn State College of Medicine “Repurposing a Multiple Sclerosis Drug in Severe Limb Trauma” (link to research summary page from Current Research table)
