CureAccelerator Live! for Rare Diseases 2019

In June 2019, Cures Within Reach held CureAccelerator Live! for Rare Diseases philanthropic pitch event in Philadelphia, PA. Three PIs from institutions in the US and Italy were selected to present their clinical repurposing trials impacting rare disease patients for up to $50,000 in funding. Following the pitches and Q&A from a panel of expert, attendees selected the winning project:   Dr. Kim Nichols, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital “Repurposing a Blood Cancer Drug to Treat an Immune Disorder in Children”
