Cure Accelerator Live! for Developing World 2019

In May 2019, Cures Within Reach held CureAccelerator Live! for the Developing World philanthropic pitch event in Boston, MA. Five PIs from institutions in the US and India were selected to present their clinical repurposing trials impacting patients in low and lower-middle income countries for up to $50,000 in funding. Following the pitches and Q&A from a panel of expert, attendees selected the winning project: Dr. Majdi Osman, OpenBiome “The THRIVE Study: Repurposing Fecal Microbiota Transplantation for the Treatment of Pediatric Malnutrition in South Africa”
