The 2013 Cures Within Reach Midwest BioScience Industry Campaign
Michael Rosen of Forest City's Illinois Science and Technology Park
receives the Inaugural Cures Within Reach Patient Impact Legacy Award
Thank you to all attendees and sponsors for a stellar evening in June. We look forward to seeing you next year!
"Many of us joined the BioScience Industry in response to a sincere desire to have an impact on on significant diseases and improve the quality of life and outcome of patients' lives. I am proud to be the inaugural honoree in this campaign to enhance BioScience connections while driving patient-centered research." - Michael Rosen
The 2013 Cures Within Reach Midwest BioScience Industry Campaign is an inaugural event with a dual purpose:
To solidify the identity and strength of the Midwest BioScience Industry through honoring a leader in its ranks and engaging in an inspiring joint philanthropic effort.
To drive forward the mission of Cures Within Reach by generating funds for both direct programming, overhead, and resource development.
This 250-300 person annual event will provide an ongoing opportunity for industry insight and networking. Cures Within Reach hopes to raise $300K in its inaugural efforts and raise awareness in Midwest BioScience community of its ongoing work saving patient lives through Rediscovery Research™ that takes drugs and devices approved for one disease indication and finds uses for them in additional diseases that have no currently effective therapy.
